Sophia Eisenberg (Breakout Room Moderator): Sophia moved to the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago after earning her BA in Psychology and Political Science from the University of Michigan where Sophia strengthened her interest in education after teaching in prisons for four years. Since moving to Chicago, Sophia obtained her Masters of Special Education and is a high school special education teacher in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood. Next year, Sophia will be pursuing her MSW at the University of Chicago and hopes to one day receive her PhD in social work.
